There are around 2,500 members at Unique Fitness, based at the University of Bradford’s campus.

The university sports centre has been around for more than 60 years, originally designed to cater mainly to university staff and students.

Over time, the demand for high-quality fitness facilities grew and major refurbishment took place in 2007.

Katie Moore, insight and growth manager, said: “We are very proud to be nominated as one of the best gyms in the Bradford district. It was a complete surprise.

“We’re truly grateful to everyone who supported us.

“A huge thank you to our members and the wider community for being part of our journey – we couldn’t have done it without you.”

The gym features a mix of strength and conditioning equipment, a spacious functional training area, and a diverse selection of group fitness classes for all abilities.

“Whether you’re a complete beginner, a seasoned athlete, or someone returning to fitness after a break, our team is here to guide and inspire you every step of the way.”

Katie added: “We are incredibly proud to have customers who have been members for over 30 years – a true testament to the positive atmosphere we’ve built.”
